At HappieHugs, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, returns are accepted only in specific circumstances. Please read this policy carefully.


1. Return Eligibility Window ⏰

Returns are accepted within 3 days of delivery only under the following conditions:

✅ Eligible for Return:

  • Product Mismatch: Received product does not match your order (wrong color, size, or item)
  • Damaged/Defective: Product arrived damaged, torn, or with manufacturing defects
  • Quality Issues: Significant quality problems affecting usability

❌ NOT Eligible for Return:

  • Products in used, played-with, or worn condition
  • Missing original packaging or tags removed
  • General change of mind or preference
  • Orders placed more than 3 days ago
  • Custom or personalized orders

2. Condition of Return 📦

Returned products must meet these criteria:

  • ✅ Unused & Unwashed: Product must be in original, unused condition
  • ✅ Original Packaging: Must be in original packaging/box
  • ✅ Tags Intact: All tags, labels, and seals must be intact
  • ✅ Complete Set: All accessories and components included
  • ✅ Hygiene: No signs of use, play, or wear

3. Return Process 📮

Step 1: Contact us at store@happiehugs.store within 3 days of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return (mismatch/damage/defect)
  • Clear photos of the product & packaging

Step 2: We will verify eligibility and issue a Return Authorization (RA) number

Step 3: Ship the product back to us using the provided return address

Step 4: Once received and inspected, we process your refund


4. Shipping Charges for Returns 🚚

Return Shipping Cost:

  • If Product Mismatch or Damaged/Defective: ✅ HappieHugs covers return shipping cost
  • If Customer Changes Mind (no defect/mismatch): ❌ Customer pays return shipping charges

5. Refund Timeline ⏳

  • Inspection Period: 3-5 business days after return received
  • Refund Processing: 15-20 business days after approval
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, wallet)
  • Refund Amount: Full purchase price (excluding original shipping charges)

6. Non-Returnable Items 🚫

The following items CANNOT be returned under any circumstances:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Sale/discounted items (unless defective)
  • Items purchased during clearance sales
  • Products without proof of purchase
  • Hygiene products or items with removed seals

7. Damaged/Defective Product Handling 💔

If product arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Document the Damage: Take clear photos/videos of the damaged product and packaging
  2. Report Immediately: Contact us within 24 hours at store@happiehugs.store
  3. Provide Evidence: Send photos/videos for verification
  4. Full Refund: We will process a full refund WITHOUT return shipment required
  5. Replacement Option: Alternatively, we can send a replacement

8. Refund Issues & Delays ⚠️

  • Delays Beyond 20 Days: Contact your bank or payment provider
  • Refund Not Received: Email store@happiehugs.store with transaction details
  • Dispute Resolution: We will investigate and resolve within 7 business days

9. No Warranty Policy ⚠️

Important: HappieHugs soft toys come with NO WARRANTY beyond the return eligibility window stated above.

  • Manufacturing defects are covered only within 3 days of delivery as per this return policy
  • After 3 days, products are considered accepted in their current condition
  • Normal wear, tear, or deterioration is NOT covered
  • This return policy is the only protection offered
